For whatever it is worth

Remember the case of the 13-year girl who was strip-searched by her school? The US Supreme Court has ruled that the action was unconstitutional.

If teachers have to be told by the Supreme Court that such acts are illegal, one really wonders about the intelligence and lack of common sense in the people involved. Idiots.

Assumptions and presumptions

A school conducted a strip-search on a 13-year old girl hoping to find drugs, didn’t, and were taken to court as a result. And when the victim said this – “They didn’t even look at my records. They didn’t even know I was a good kid,” the school district, instead of being apologetic on their role in the affair, says this-

Her assertion should not be misread to infer that she never broke school rules, only that she was never caught.

In the same vein, would it be proper to assume that the district is full of murderers, rapists, thieves and child molesters, and its “only that [they were] never caught?” A case of guilty until proven conclusively innocent?
