A school conducted a strip-search on a 13-year old girl hoping to find drugs, didn’t, and were taken to court as a result. And when the victim said this – “They didn’t even look at my records. They didn’t even know I was a good kid,” the school district, instead of being apologetic on their role in the affair, says this-
Her assertion should not be misread to infer that she never broke school rules, only that she was never caught.
In the same vein, would it be proper to assume that the district is full of murderers, rapists, thieves and child molesters, and its “only that [they were] never caught?” A case of guilty until proven conclusively innocent?
